MONEY IS BEING INVESTED TO BRING AIRLINES TO ATLANTIC CITY

The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority is making an investment into air travel to Atlantic City. The CRDA is putting $5 million into grants to attract additional airlines to the resort. The money would be used to guarantee to buy a number of unsold seats on flights to ensure an airline has a lower threshold of risk by flying out of Atlantic City. The airport has two major flight carriers currently, Spirit and United.
