MILAM LOOKS TO END TAX ON OUT OF STATE BUS TOURS

milamA local assemblyman wants to stop charging a fee on out-of-state tour bus companies that want to bring tours into New Jersey. Assemblyman Matt Milam says the fee is hurting this area of tourism. Milam believes that these companies are going to other nearby states over New Jersey because they are not taxed like a regular business. Legislation is going to be presented to his tourism committee in the near future to get the ball rolling on this measure, according to Milam.
