MIDDLE TOWNSHIP TO CONTINUE BRUSH PICK UP PLAN

The Middle Township Committee met Monday night and decided to continue a program that will result in branches and brush being picked up that was knocked down by winter storms. The committee will continue to pick up tons of branches that lay in piles throughout the community. Residents had to cut down and remove branches that snapped under the weight of heavy snow back in February. The township will issue a ‘last call’ for residents to get the branches together before they are picked up. Middle Township has collected more than 1,000 tons of branches so far in 2010.
