MIDDLE TOWNSHIP TO BRING COMMITTEE MEETING TO RIO GRANDE

An effort to bring government to the people will take place again in Middle Township. Middle Township Mayor Dan Lockwood announced that the Monday, September 16th work session and regular meeting of the Middle Township Committee will be held at the Rio Grande Volunteer Fire Company on Route 47 in Rio Grande.  The meeting will be held at its regularly scheduled time, 6:00pm.

Middle Township officials recently made a successful application to the Cape May County Open Space Board to secure nearly $600,000 in funding for the development of the Ockie Wisting recreational area, formerly known as Fort Apache.  The recreational area is located adjacent to Route 47 in Rio Grande about one mile north of the firehouse.
