MIDDLE TOWNSHIP RECEIVES FEMA DOLLARS

Federal dollars are coming to Middle Township from the Veteran’s Day storm. Deputy Mayor Nate Doughty informed Coastal Broadcasting that over $200,000 was coming to the township from that storm along for clean up costs and beach replenishment. In total, $186,514 for Beach Dr. $32,613 for beach replenishment at Reeds Beach, $10,800 for debris removal, and $4,377 for emergency protective measures. No decision has come down for the township for the more recent storms.
