MIDDLE TOWNSHIP POLICE INVESTIGATE BREAK IN AT RITE AID

On Monday August 23, 2010 at 8:30 am Middle Township Police were called to the Rite Aid in Rio Grande, for a report of a burglary. During the night time hours someone made entry into the Rite Aid through the roof. The suspects cut a hole in the roof and lowered themselves down with a rope ladder. Upon entering the store they were able to disarm the alarm system.  They made off with an undisclosed amount of money, batteries, electronics, and medication.

The Burglary occurred sometime during Sunday night August 22, 2010. If anyone observed any suspicious activity in the area of the Rite Aid, they are asked to contact the Middle Township Major Crime Unit 465-8704 or the Cape May County Crime Stoppers 465-2800.
