MIDDLE TOWNSHIP BEATS LOWER CAPE MAY, 44-14 FOR ANCHOR BOWL TROPHY

Middle Township went on a 31-0 run in the second half to win the annual Anchor Bowl football game, 44-14 in a game broadcast live on WCZT.  Lower Cape May had a 14-13 point lead at half, but the Panthers dominated the game.  This was the 99th meeting between both schools; the new Anchor Bowl trophy was awarded to the Panthers after the game.
