MIDDLE RESIDENTS CONTINUE TO BE CONCERNED WITH FLOODING ISSUES

Despite the warm temperatures, there are still flooded areas in Cape May County. Middle Township is one part where large ponds still exist. Committeeman Dan Lockwood acknowledged that some residents feel the township isn’t doing enough to resolve the problems. Some township residents have had to flee their home during the heavy rains and in the aftermath because of flooding that was occurring within some residences. Lockwood said the township is doing everything it can within its power to try and resolve the problems and will continue to work on the issue.
