MERCURY REACHES -16 IN NEW JERSEY OVER THE WEEKEND

This weekend was a record-setter in New Jersey with the mercury going down as far as -16 in Walpack, Sussex County.  Negative readings were all around the region overnight Saturday night into Sunday morning.  locally, the temperature tumbled to -6 in both Millville and Vineland, while Cape May County’s record low was set in Woodbine, at -9.
