New Jersey Senator Robert Menendez is ready for a re-election bid in 2012. Menendez confirmed that he will file paperwork this week that shows he raised $1.6 million for his possible re-election campaign next year; that brings his total warchest to about $4 million. Republicans are expected to front a formible candidate to challenge Menendez in 2012.
