A new poll suggests news reports on the scandal involving U.S. Senator Robert Menendez has taken a toll on his public image. A Quinnipiac University poll shows a 15 percent drop in approval rating from last month, down to 36 percent. The poll shows more people disapprove with a 41 percent disapproval rating. The poll also shows only 28 percent of respondents think he is “honest and trustworthy.” News reports suggested that Menendez was provided underage prostitutes by a doctor that is under federal investigation.
