MEASURE APPROVED TO ADVANCE OPEN SPACE BILL IN TRENTON

A new bill that would provide $200 million in open space funding for the State of New Jersey made its way out of an Assembly committee on Thursday.  The bill would ask voters to approve a $200 million expenditure to preserve various open and recreational space in the Garden State.  The Assembly Budget Committee approved the bill, now it advances to the full Assembly.
