MASSIVE CUTS COULD BE COMING TO END STATE SHORTFALL

The governor’s office could have to make severe cuts to the budget to shore up a $800 million shortfall in the budget. Gov. Chris Christie might be forced to look at a number of programs including property tax rebates. State Treasurer Andrew Sidamon-Eristoff said that he will look into other programs as well to see what can be slashed before the end of the fiscal year in June.
