MAN SHOT AND KILLED FOLLOWING FIGHT WITH STATE POLICE

A man got into a fight with a state trooper and was shot dead The Courier Post reports that Eddie Velazquez of Pennsauken was killed by the trooper. Police say the man was pronounced dead at the scene. A fight broke out after the man hit the officer with a vehicle. State Police have not released the name of the trooper involved. A loaded weapon was found inside of Velazquez sweatshirt.
