MAN SET FREE FOLLOWING AGGRAVATED MANSLAUGHTER SENTENCING

A killer in Cumberland County got to walk right out of the courtroom after the sentencing was handed down. Peter Henriques had his murder conviction overturned in a retrial, but was found guilty of aggravated manslaughter. Henriques was sentenced to 5,317 days in jail, or the exact amount of time he had been serving under his previous murder conviction. Henriques was free to go and the family of Nielsa Mason, were noticeable disappointed after the sentencing was handed down. The two were classmates when Mason was killed in 1997.
