MAN SENTENCED IN CHILD PORNOGRAPHY CASE

A 36-year-old Hammonton man was sentenced on Friday to three years in prison for distribution of child pornography. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office announced that Anthony Alfred Giocoppo will be registered as a sex offender under Megan’s Law. Giacoppo entered the guilty plea on March 7 to second-degree distribution of child pornography. According to the release, around 500 images of pornography were found on Giacoppo’s cell phone and further evidence was found that the images had been distributed.
