MAN NOW SAYS HE IS INNOCENT, DIDN'T SHOOT COP

During a court hearing on Friday, a man who initially said he killed an Atlantic City police officer now says he is innocent. Gerald Spivey had his attorney tell the judge that Spivey is innocent, despite his earlier plea. A new court date was set for Aug. 6 where if the motion is not accepted, sentencing will continue. Spivey faces the potential of 20 years in jail. The original incident took place in December, 2008.
