MAN KILLED, 4 INJURED IN SHOOTOUT ON A.C. EXPRESSWAY

State Police continue to investigate a shooting that occurred Monday afternoon at about 3 p.m. on the eastbound Atlantic City Expressway near mile marker 11. Action News reported that a white Ford Excursion, covered with bullet holes, was found later in the parking lot of the Wawa on the airport circle on Tilton Road, with four shooting victims inside, a large quantity of cash and other evidence. At about the same time another vehicle was stopped on the Garden State Parkway near Exit 38, with a male passenger who had been shot in the head and later died. The eastbound A.C. Expressway was shut down Monday night as police investigated. More details will be released as they become available.
