MAN GIVEN SEVEN YEARS IN FATAL HIT AND RUN

A fatal hit and run suspect was given the most time in jail possible. Ismael Lopez-Bautista, 33, of Bridgeton was given seven years for leaving the scene of a fatal accident. According to court documents, Lopez-Bautista was driving while intoxicated and his vehicle left the roadway, striking Aurelio Paredez. Paredez would die as a result of those injuries. Police say he registered a blood alcohol level of .14, during the 2012 incident.
