MAN ARRESTED IN COURT HO– USE ROBBERY INCIDENT

Middle Township PoliceA 57 year old man from North Cape May has been arrested and charged by Middle Township Police with a robbery at the Court House Apothecary business over the weekend.  Township police busted Colon C. Spearin over the weekend after he walked into the business, produced a knife and told the pharmacist to lay down face first on the floor.  Spearin allegedly stole prescription medication during the robbery.  He was later arrested without incident, confessed to the crime, and produced the knife and the drugs that he took.  There were no injuries.  Colon was charged with robbery, theft, and other offenses; he was taken to the county jail on $50,000 cash bail.
