MAJOR ROAD WORK SET TO BEGIN IN LOWER TOWNSHIP THIS MONTH

200px-NJDOT_svgThe state’s Department of Transportation has set Feb. 18 as the start date for a major road reconstruction project in Lower Township. Breakwater and Tabernacle roads will be extended and the intersection at Bennett’s Crossing and Sally Marshall’s Crossing will be eliminated. The intersection has been deemed dangerous and this work is attempting to make the area more safer. The overall work will cost $10 million.
