MAJOR GRANT AWARDED TO LOCAL C.A.R.A GROUP

A large grant was awarded to a non-profit group in Wildwood Crest. U.S. Representative Frank A. LoBiondo announced a $308,996 federal grant from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women to assist the Borough of Wildwood Crest in combating domestic abuse, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking. The efforts of law enforcement to reduce violence against women will be pursued in collaboration with the Coalition Against Rape and Abuse (C.A.R.A.).
