“LYDIA” HAS ARRIVED AT THE CAPE MAY COUNTY ZOO

Lydia is now a fixture at the Cape May county Zoo.  County officials announced that the one and a half year old female zoo has come from the St. Paul, Minnesota zoo and now is a mate for the male zebra, “Ziggy”.  Lydia is the fourth female to join the herd.  this type of zebra can ultimately weight between 485 and 700 pounds.
