LOWER TOWNSHIP WILL VOTE TO AMEND RESIDENCY RULES FOR MANAGER, SOLICITOR

The agenda for Wednesday’s Lower Township council meeting includes a vote on changing the residency rules for two key positions. Council will vote on two ordinances that would change the rules so that the township manager and solicitor did not have to come from Lower Township in order to be hired by the government. Both Mike Voll and Michael Donohue were hired as manager and solicitor, respectively, but both live outside of the township. Council is voting to amend the rules to satisfy their new hires.
