“Over the Limit, Under Arrest” will be coming to Lower Township this month. Beginning on Aug. 20 and running through Sept. 6, local and state law enforcement will be stepping up sobriety checkpoints to look for motorists who are driving while intoxicated. Last year in New Jersey, 186 people were killed as a result of an alcohol-related crash. Money for the program is funded through a grant from the Division of Highway Traffic Safety.
