LOWER TOWNSHIP SCHOOL DISTRICT INTRODUCES NEW BUDGET

A seven-tenths increase is being proposed by the Lower Township School District. The spending plan comes in at $26.5 million. The proposed increase is below the state mandated two-percent property tax cap. The new budget does not call for any layoffs. The budget will have to be approved by voters during the annual school elections in April. The budget is available for view on the Lower Township School District’s website.
