LOWER TOWNSHIP POLICE ARREST WILDWOOD MAN FOR ASSAULT

Lower_Township_PoliceLower Township Police have announced the arrest of a Wildwood man on charges that he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend over the weekend in North Cape May.  Township Police arrested 29 year old Robbie Ackerley who lives on Rio Grande Avenue in Wildwood.  Police allege Ackerley physically assaulted and choked his girlfriend on Sunday evening in a home located on the 600 block of Town Bank Road in North Cape May.  Ackerley was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault, and making terroristic threats.  Bail was set at $15,000 cash.  Wildwood Police assisted in the investigation.
