LOWER TOWNSHIP MAN BUSTED FOR MAKING FAKE 911 CALLS

Lower Township Police have announced the arrest of a local man on charges that he made three bogus 911 calls to police dispatch just before the weekend.  Police arrested 21 year old Daniel T. Thomas of North Cape May after he allegedly made three bogus calls to police during the early morning hours on Thursday, July 8th.  Police caught up to Thomas when Thomas made obscene gestures to a Lower Township police car in a parking lot located in the Villas.  Thomas was very belligerent towards the officers and made threats to them, and their family members.  Thomas was hit with multiple offenses and taken to the county jail on $10,000 cash bail.
