LOWER TOWNSHIP CRACKING DOWN ON DOGS ON THE BEACH

Lower Township is cracking down on unleashed dogs on the municipal beaches.  In a press release, township officials say Shore Animal Control officers are routinely on the beaches of the township looking for dogs off leashes and for people who do not clean up after their dogs.  Summons are being issued for offenders; fines start at $100.
