LOWER TOWNSHIP, COUNTY CUT RIBBON ON NEW JOINT DISPATCH CENTER

Cape May County and Lower Township officials hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday morning for a new joint dispatch center for the County, and a new public safety building for Lower Township.  Freeholder Director Gerald Thornton announced that both government bodies will save up to $2.5 million with this joint venture.  The goal, eventually, is to get most or all dispatch moved over to the County.
