LOWER TOWNSHIP COPS RESPOND TO NINE ACCIDENTS

The Lower Township Police Department was kept busy over the weekend as it responded to nine motor vehicle accidents during a three day period that began on Friday, June 4th. Lower Township police say the flurry of accidents began on Friday with a three-vehicle motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Town Bank Road and Seashore Road. It ended Sunday afternoon with a two vehicle accident near the Bayview Inn in the Diamond Beach section of the community. One accident that took place Saturday morning involved a vehicle and a motorcycle at Fulling Mill and Bayshore Roads; injuries were reported in that accident.
