Lower Township Police are warning residents about a telephone fraud scheme that has been occurring in the community. Police say an individual with a foreign accent is calling residents claiming he is with the IRS; the caller demands money and threatens an arrest unless payment is made. Police are telling the public these schemes are all frauds and if you are contact, contact local police immediately.
