LOWER POLICE PICKED UP MAN FOR STRING OF CAR BURGLARIES

The man responsible for some of the car burglaries in Lower Township has been arrested. Lower Township Police say that Jason Wagner, of the Villas, was picked up by Officer William McPherson, when Wagner was noticed exiting a motor vehicle on Walnut Ave on Sept. 19. He was found in possession of a pocketbook and a number of other items. Wagner has been charged with several counts of criminal trespass, and theft of property and burglary. Bail was set at $50,000. Additional charges may be pending.
