LOWER GRAD SZCZUR GETS BASEBALL PROMOTION

A big promotion for a former baseball and football star at Lower Cape May Regional High School.  Matt Szczur has been promoted by the Chicago Cubs to a high single A level team in Daytona of the Florida State League.  While Szczur played for Peoria, he batted .314 with five home runs.  Szczur starred in baseball and football at Lower Cape May before taking his talents to Villanova University.
