LOCAL DOCTOR HAS LICENSE REVOKED FOR PRESCRIPTION ISSUES INVOLVING OPIOIDS

A local physician was among five in the state to officially have their medical licenses revoked for prescriptions related to opioids and other drugs.  74 year old William McClay of Cape May Court House is among the five who had a license revoked.  The New Jersey Attorney General’s Office says McClay engaged in indiscriminate prescribing of Oxycodone, Xanax, and other medicines. He has retired and surrendered his license.
