LOCAL BEACH PATROLS KEEPING AN EYE ON RIP CURRENTS

The National Weather Service has posted a High Surf Advisory for Saturday, July 5th until 12 Noon.  Hurricane Arthur has continued to churn up the ocean and it’s very likely beach patrols will be keeping bathers in close to the shore especially Saturday morning.  Rip currents are a possibility all along the Mid Atlantic coastline today due to the storm which brought heavy rain and gusty winds to the Jersey Cape on Friday morning.
