An enrollment clinic will be held later this month for area veterans. Congressman Frank LoBiondo will be hosting a VA health care enrollment on Friday, April 29th. LoBiondo says in a release that higher enrollment will help convince the VA that more services are needed for veterans in South Jersey.
“For too long, our veterans have had to actually leave the state to receive medical treatment at VA centers. Particularly with those returning from service in Iraq and Afghanistan, our veterans’ population here in South Jersey continues to grow. With more local veterans registered in the VA system, we will be able to bolster our claims of a significant need for local services,” said LoBiondo. “I remain committed to our veterans and will continue to host these clinics while working to expand local access to healthcare.”
It will be held at the county Administration Building in the Intermediate room from 9 to 1 p.m.
