LIFEGUARD COMPETITION TONIGHT TO BENEFIT CHARITY

A major lifeguard competition will be held this evening in Upper Township to benefit an important charity.  The Upper Township beach Patrol M.S Six Mile Row is being held this evening for the 18th consecutive year.  The defending champs are Craig Whitehead and Shane McGrath from the Avalon Beach Patrol who have won the title the past two summers.  Whitehead has won the rowing event five times.
