LEGISLATION INTRODUCED TO ALLOW ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS TO DRIVE IN NEW JERSEY

Legislation is pending in Trenton that could allowed illegal immigrants to drive. Bill sponsor Sen. Joe Vitale has told the press its a safety thing because many of these people are driving anyway. It would allow the state to know who is on the roadway and have documentation. A bill similar to this has been introduced previously in the state, but has failed to gain traction. Gov. Chris Christie’s office has yet to comment publicly on the bill.
