LEGISLATION BEING CONSIDERED TO MAKE RETAILERS OFFER AFTER-REBATE PRICE

120px-Seal_of_New_Jersey_svgA new bill is being looked at that would force companies to charge an “after-rebate price.” The measure is being looked at in the Assembly. Sponsoring lawmakers say that the price lures customers in but the paperwork excessive. Under the proposed law, it would be the companies responsibility to fill out the paperwork in order to collect the money, but the customer would be charged the “after-rebate” price.
