LAWYERS: TIME FOR STATE TO DROP ALCOTEST

It may be time for the state of New Jersey to dump Alcotest, the machine used to measure if someone is driving drunk.  Some defense lawyers went before the New Jersey Supreme Court on Tuesday and argued that Alcotest needs to be retired in New Jersey.  The attorneys say that the state’s analyzers have been using flawed software for five years despite a court order requiring it to be fixed.
