LAWSUIT REGARDING SPORTS BETTING THROWN OUT

A lawsuit challenging a federal ban on sports betting in New Jersey will have to wait. A federal judge threw the lawsuit out by State Senator Raymond Lesniak. The judge said the voters had not yet voted to approve sports betting and therefore, there was no reason for the lawsuit to go any farther. A lawsuit could be refiled if voters approve the matter through a ballot question.
