A major motion was filed before the New Jersey Supreme Court on Tuesday that could force the Christie administration to fully fund school districts in the state. The Education Law Center has filed a motion in court that, if successful, could force the state to fork over an additional $1 billion in education funding. That move would seriously impact the new state budget. Governor Chris Christie has proposed cutting just over $1 billion in school aid this year.
