LAWMAKERS TO MAKE DECISION ON NJN TODAY

The state legislature will decide what to do with NJN during their session today. Gov. Chris Christie rolled out a proposal earlier this year to make the public broadcasting group a non-profit company that will no longer be under state control. A bill is bring looked at that would simply create a commission to look into all of the ramifications of transferring the agency out of state control. Some lawmakers felt there isn’t enough time to properly study the transfer themselves.
