LAWMAKERS’ ANSWER TO FUNDING ROAD PROJECTS? 23 CENT GAS TAX

You may have to dig deep into your pockets to finance road projects in New Jersey.  Some lawmakers decided to introduce a whopping 23 cent increase in the gasoline tax to fund essential road projects in the State.  Leaders from both the Senate and Assembly introduced the high gas tax just before the weekend.  The Transportation Trust Fund is nearly belly up.
