LAUTENBERG NAMED CHAIRMAN OF SUBCOMMITTEE THAT CONTROLS HOMELAND SECURITY DOLLARS

New Jersey may be positioned very well to get homeland security funding. United States Senator Frank Lautenberg is the chairman of a subcommittee that controls nearly $44 billion in funding. Lautenberg has already said publicly he would like more spending to be done nationwide on rail, plane, and other protection. He also said New Jersey will be taken care of in this process.
