LAUTENBERG GOES HOME TO ANNOUNCE RETIREMENT

It was a chance to say good bye for U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg. The 89-year-old senator returned to his hometown of Paterson on Friday to formally announce his retirement. Lautenberg hit on a couple of the themes addressed by President Barack Obama in his State of the Union address, saying he will work on new gun safety laws and raising the minimum wage. Lautenberg will finish out his term through the end of next year.
