The New Jersey Assembly is expected to vote on Monday on some key legislation that would help add jobs and provide more unemployment benefits in the state. Legislative democrats are advancing a measure that would create a so-called “Back to Work NJ” program to help out of work residents receive job training from employers. Another bill endorsed by democrats would permit New Jersey workers to receive unemployment benefits if their hours are reduced by ten percent or more.
