JUST IN: VAN DREW/ALBANO TICKET PICKS SURPRISE CANDIDATE

A political newcomer is joining the democratic legislative ticket in our First District.  Robert Andrzejczak is going to run for the New Jersey Assembly seat on a ticket that includes Senator Jeff Van Drew and Nelson Albano; incumbent Assemblyman Matt Milam is not going to seek re-election.  Milam announced Thursday night that he is leaving the slate immediately and Andrzejczak will be sworn in to his assembly seat.    Andrzejczak is from Cape May County and lost his left leg while a member of the United States Army fighting in Iraq.  He was medically discharged from the Army after two tours in Iraq.  Andrzejczak is a graduate of Lower Cape May Regional High School and earned a Purple Heart.
