Tuesday was day two of the murder trial of 62 year-old Ferdinand Augello of Upper Township, who is charged in the murder of April Kauffman in 2012. The jury heard an hour-long recorded phone conversation and read the transcript of the recording between Augello and state confidential informant Andrew Glick. On the recording Augello denied killing Kauffman, but was allegedly writing notes at the time to Glick, naming others who were involved in the drug ring operated out of Dr. James Kauffman’s medical practice.
